Thanks for the update on the garden project. I checked the soil samples and they came back with a pH of 6.8 which is actually pretty good for what we want to plant. We should proceed with the raised beds next week if the weather holds. I already ordered the lumber from the local supplier and they said it would arrive by Thursday. The drip irrigation system should be here by Friday so we can start laying it out over the weekend. Let me know if you want to adjust the layout at all. The measurements we took last week still look accurate based on my recalc. I also spoke with the greenhouse folks and they confirmed the seedlings will be ready for transplant in about three weeks. That timing should work well for us. I think we should aim to have everything prepped and ready by then. The compost delivery is scheduled for Monday morning so please make sure the driveway is clear. I will send you the updated plan with the bed spacing revisions later today. Let me know if you have any questions about the soil amendments I suggested. The organic matter content is lower than ideal so we need to add about two inches of compost to each bed. That should bring the levels up significantly. Also I wanted to mention that the rain barrel installation might need to wait until after the beds are built to avoid any damage to the new system. We can discuss on the call tomorrow.

AAA Roadside Support
The contractor asked about the timeline for the kitchen renovation and I told them we are aiming for early next month. They seemed fine with that but mentioned the countertop fabrication might add another week depending on the stone availability. We selected the quartz material last Tuesday and the sample looked good against the cabinet color. The backsplash tile we ordered arrived yesterday and I checked the boxes. Everything looks correct and the color match is close to what we expected. There is one small issue with the under cabinet lighting because the electrician needs to run a new circuit. That might push the schedule back by a day or two but nothing major. I also confirmed with the plumber that the sink and faucet are in stock and ready for installation. The flooring crew said they can start once the cabinets are in place. We should have a clearer picture after the next walkthrough which is scheduled for Friday morning. I will send you the updated timeline after I meet with everyone. Let me know if you have any concerns about the material choices or the layout changes we discussed. I think the overall plan is solid and we are making good progress despite the minor delays.
