I think you are right about using less sugar in the banana bread recipe. I tried it last weekend with only half a cup and it turned out way better than before. The bananas were really ripe so they added plenty of sweetness on their own. Next time I might try adding some walnuts for texture because I like a little crunch in each bite. My neighbor tried a slice and asked for the recipe so I passed along your modified version actually. Let me know if you try it with chocolate chips instead because I am curious how that changes the flavor profile. The baking time seemed about right at 55 minutes but my oven runs a little hot so I covered it with foil halfway through. I think the key is really letting those bananas get spotty and soft before you mash them. Anyway thanks for sharing the recipe with me it is definitely going into my regular rotation. Have you tried making it with gluten free flour yet I am thinking about experimenting with that next time.

I finally finished reorganizing the garage over the weekend and it feels so much better now. I found some old photo albums I thought were lost forever which was a nice surprise. It took way longer than I expected because I kept stopping to look through boxes of stuff from years ago. My wife was laughing at me because I spent an hour just going through a box of old concert tickets and mixtapes. I threw out a ton of stuff that was just taking up space and donated a few boxes to the local thrift store. I still need to figure out what to do with the old sports equipment though because it feels wasteful to just toss it. Maybe I will list it on that community group page and see if anyone wants it for free. The shelves look great now with everything labeled and organized by category. It feels like I gained an extra room honestly.
