Hey there — I finally got around to testing that new setup you recommended. Honestly it took me a while to get everything wired but once I did the difference was pretty clear. I think the trick was adjusting the baseline levels before running any calibration scans. Anyway the whole thing feels way more stable now and the interface is actually intuitive once you spend a few minutes with it. I still haven't tried the advanced mode but the default profile handles everything I need so far. Let me know if you've played with any of the newer updates — I heard they streamlined a bunch of the menus. I'd be curious if you noticed any quirks after the last patch. Also thanks again for the tip about the tool kit. I ordered that little organizer you mentioned and it made a huge difference in keeping things tidy. The magnetic strip alone was worth it. I'll send you a photo once I finish the full layout. Anyway talk soon.
Oh and I finally watched that documentary series you were talking about — the one about the engineering behind those old rail networks. Really fascinating stuff. The episodes move fast but the visuals are stunning. I think you'd enjoy the episode on the mountain tunnels especially.

I ended up taking a different route home today because there was some event blocking the main avenue. Traffic was surprisingly light on the side streets and I noticed a few new shops that opened up near the old bakery district. One place had this really interesting facade made of reclaimed wood and glass blocks. I made a mental note to stop by next week when I have more time. Also I finally finished rearranging the furniture in the living room and it actually made the space feel much bigger than I expected. I moved the tall shelf to the far wall and swapped the sofa angle so it faces the windows now. The light in the afternoon is really nice from that position. I still need to figure out what to do with the corner near the entryway — maybe a small bench or just a tall plant. I'll probably browse a few ideas online this weekend. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Also your recommendation about the stacking bins was spot on — they fit perfectly under the console table.
Anyway hope you had a good day. Mine ended up being pretty productive even though I started late. Sometimes those days turn out better than the ones I plan down to the minute.
