Hey, thanks for your note about Saturday. I think meeting at the trailhead around 7:30 works well, since the morning light should be good by then and we can avoid the afternoon heat. I checked the park website and the main loop is open, though the ridge trail has some maintenance scheduled. I suggest we take the creek path first since it's shaded and there's been some kingfisher activity reported. Bring your camera if you like. I'll pack snacks and plenty of water. Let me know if you need a ride — I can swing by your place around 7 if that helps. Otherwise we can coordinate parking. I'll bring the trail map just in case. Should be a good day out.
Also, I wanted to ask if you have preferences on lunch afterward. There's that sandwich spot near the south entrance that stays open until 3. Or we could grab something downtown. Let me know what you think and I'll plan accordingly. Looking forward to it.

Regarding your question about the garden club meetup next month, I think the community center on Elm Street is still the best option since it has the side room with the sink and counter space. We'll need to confirm by the 15th to reserve it. I spoke with Carol and she mentioned that the potting demonstration could work indoors if the weather doesn't cooperate. She suggested we plan for about 20 people and have a few extra chairs available. I can bring my hand tools and some starter pots if needed. Let me know if you want me to coordinate with Carol directly or if you'd rather handle that. Also, should we arrange for coffee and snacks or keep it simple with just water? I can reach out to the bakery on Main Street if we want to order a few trays. Just let me know your thoughts and I'll move forward with the arrangements.
