Hey, thanks for your note over the weekend. We finally got around to planting that little herb garden we've been talking about. I honestly didn't expect it to take up the whole Saturday, but digging out the old roots and leveling the soil was way more work than I thought. Still, it feels good to have something growing out there. I even put in a couple of tomato stakes, though I'm pretty sure I overwatered them on day one. Anyway, the fresh basil smells incredible, and I'm already planning to make pesto this weekend if the plants cooperate. Let me know when you want to come over and see the setup. I could use a second opinion on the layout, and maybe you'll have some tips for keeping the squirrels away. They've already started eyeing the garden bed like it's their personal buffet. Hope your week is off to a good start. Talk soon.

Hey, have you seen that new documentary series on the deep sea? I started it last night and honestly couldn't stop watching. The footage of the bioluminescent creatures drifting around in total darkness is just mesmerizing. I had no idea that so much of the ocean floor is still completely unexplored. It makes you realize how small our everyday problems really are when you look at the sheer scale of what's out there. I also love how the narrator explains the science without making it feel like a lecture. It's more like listening to a friend who happens to know everything about ancient underwater volcanoes and weird fish. Anyway, I just thought I'd mention it in case you're looking for something interesting to watch. Let me know what you think if you check it out. I'm only two episodes in, but I already feel like I've learned a ton. Talk soon.
