ok so i finally got those tomato plants in the ground this morning. The soil there is super rich, i added some compost last fall and it really paid off. I'm trying a new variety called 'Cherokee Purple' this year, they're supposed to be really sweet. Also planted some basil and jalapenos around the perimeter. Fingers crossed we get a good harvest before the first frost. Work has been insane but spending time in the garden is really helping me unwind. Let me know if you want some tips for your raised beds! That cedar frame you built looks really solid. I might steal that design for my backyard next year. Have you thought about adding a drip irrigation system? It saves so much time.
