Yeah I think we should totally go with the earlier timing for the picnic. Everyone seemed more available before noon and the weather report looks better in the morning. I checked with a few people and they agreed it would be easier to get things set up while it's still cool outside. We can bring the portable grill and some sides. Let me know if you want me to grab extra chairs or a table. I can swing by the store on Friday afternoon to pick up anything we still need. I'm also planning to bring that big cooler we used last time it worked really well. Just let me know what everyone else is bringing so we don't end up with five bags of chips and nothing else. I'll send out a group message tonight to finalize the list. Should be a fun day if the weather holds up like they're saying.

Oh I see what you meant now about the book club schedule. I was looking at it the wrong way. The rotation makes more sense if we start with the shorter reads first so people can ease into it. I already picked up a copy of the first title from the library and I'm about halfway through. It's actually pretty engaging once you get past the first few chapters. I think the group will enjoy discussing the themes in the second half. Let me know if you want to meet up before the next session to chat about it. I'm free most weekday evenings after seven. I also found a couple of discussion questions online that might help get the conversation going. I'll bring them along in case nobody else has prepared anything.
