Yeah the marinade recipe you sent should work really well for the chicken. We can definitely add veggie skewers with bell peppers and onions like you suggested. The weather forecast shows mid 70s for Saturday which is perfect. I will pick up charcoal and extra napkins on Friday when I go to the store. Let me know if anyone coming has dietary restrictions I need to plan for. I can bring the folding table if we need more space for sides and drinks. The potato salad recipe from last time was popular so I will make that again. I can also grab pre-made burger patties to save some time. What time do you think people will start arriving so I can plan when to start grilling. I will bring a cooler with extra ice as well. Should I get the compartment style paper plates or regular ones will be fine.

I also picked up some disposable cups and utensils last time I was at the store so we have those covered. Let me know if you think we need a backup plan in case it rains. I can set up the pop-up canopy we used at the park last summer.

The living room painting is finally done and the color looks great in natural light. Two coats were enough to cover the old beige completely. The ceiling still needs a fresh coat of white but that can wait until next weekend. Moving the bookshelf to the opposite wall really opened up the room more than I expected. The new curtains arrive on Tuesday and I hope they match the wall color like you thought they would. Next is replacing the baseboards which I am not looking forward to because miter cuts are tricky. If you have tips for getting clean corners I would appreciate it. I also need to pick a color for the hallway accent wall and I am leaning toward a warm gray but open to suggestions. Let me know if you have any color recommendations.

I also measured the entryway and I think a small bench with storage underneath would fit nicely there. I found a few options online that could work with the overall look we are going for.
