Just got back from that hiking trip up north. The weather was absolutely perfect, not a cloud in the sky. We did about eight miles total, with a pretty steep incline in the middle. At the top, there was this incredible view of the entire valley, totally worth the burning legs. We packed sandwiches and ate them sitting on this big flat rock overlooking everything. Saw a deer on the trail on the way down, just standing there watching us. It was one of those days where everything just clicks. I already want to go back and try a different trail. Let me know if you ever want to come along!

Finally saw that movie everyone has been talking about. I went in with pretty low expectations because sometimes things get overhyped, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cinematography was stunning, especially the opening scene. The plot had a few twists I didn't see coming, which is rare for me. The lead actor gave a really compelling performance. My only complaint is that it felt a bit too long, probably could have trimmed fifteen minutes from the middle act. Overall, I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10.
