Hey, just got back from that trail run we talked about. The weather was perfect, not too hot and the breeze kept the bugs away. I ended up going further than planned because the path was so well maintained. There's a new bridge over the creek now, makes the loop much nicer. I saw a deer standing there watching me, didn't even spook when I got close. Anyway, I was thinking about your question regarding the best time to go. Definitely early morning before it gets crowded. On another note, I finally started reading that book you loaned me. Took a bit to get into it but now I can't put it down. The character development is incredible. Let me know if you want to borrow the sequel when I'm done. Oh, and speaking of plans, are we still on for the game night this Friday? I can bring snacks. Managed to fix that leaky faucet in the guest bathroom. Found a great tutorial online that made it look way easier than I expected. Only had to run to the hardware store once for a specific washer I didn't have. The whole thing took about an hour but now it works perfectly with no drip. Also, the cat has discovered that she can open the pantry door if she jumps up on the handle. Came home yesterday to find a bag of treats completely shredded on the floor. She looked so pleased with herself I couldn't even be mad. We're going to have to get child locks. Have you tried that new Thai place downtown? I went last weekend and the green curry was phenomenal. Perfect amount of spice. We should plan a dinner there soon. Anyway, just wanted to share that the faucet is fixed in case you wanted to use that bathroom.
