Hey, thanks for the note about the backyard project. I totally get the rain delay thing – we had to postpone our deck staining twice last spring.

The kids have been loving the new sprinkler setup though. We got one of those oscillating types and it covers the whole lawn.

Let me know if you want to borrow the circular saw again – it's still sitting in the garage. Honestly I think I used it twice and then forgot I owned it.

Anyway, hope you get a dry weekend soon. The weather app keeps changing its mind every hour around here.

I finally tried that sourdough starter recipe you sent me. Took three days to get it bubbly but the first loaf actually turned out edible!

The crust was a bit thick but my neighbor said it tasted better than the bakery stuff – which I think is a generous exaggeration but still.

My cat decided to sit on the dough while it was rising and left a paw print. I baked it anyway and called it artisan.

Are you still doing that weekend woodworking class? I'm thinking about signing up for one in the fall.

Any tips on keeping the kitchen from turning into a flour explosion zone? Asking for a friend.

Take care!
