Hey! Thanks for the invite to the BBQ on Saturday. We'd love to come. I was thinking of bringing that classic potato salad we talked about, and maybe a few beers. Let me know if there's anything else you need. I can also help set up the chairs and umbrellas if you want. It's been way too long since we all got together. The weather is supposed to be perfect, so it should be a great day. We'll plan to arrive around noon if that works for you. Let me know if you need us to pick up some buns or snacks on the way. Looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up. Should we bring our own lawn chairs? Also, is the pool open? I know the kids will want to jump in if it is. The trail was absolutely beautiful this time of year. The leaves were just starting to change color. We hiked about 8 miles round trip to a small waterfall. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. We packed a lunch and ate it by the water. I saw a deer on the trail, which was pretty cool. The kids did great and only complained a little bit on the way back. We are definitely going to do it again next month. I want to check out that other trail we saw on the map. It leads to a lake. Everyone was tired but happy on the drive home. We stopped for ice cream on the way back. It was a really nice day to be outside and unplug from everything for a while.
