Thanks for asking about the neighborhood book club rotation schedule. I think starting with a mix of genres across the first four months would keep everyone engaged. We have about twelve members confirmed and another three who might join. The library meeting room is available on the third Tuesday of each month which works well for most people. I was thinking we could open with a mystery novel then shift to a historical biography followed by a science fiction pick and close the first quarter with a collection of short stories. That gives variety without overwhelming anyone. Several members mentioned they prefer books under 400 pages so I will keep that in mind when suggesting titles. We also need to decide if we want a rotating moderator each month or if one person handles the whole season. I can set up a shared document where everyone can note their preferences and availability. Let me know what you think about the genre mix and we can refine from there.

I looked into the home automation setup you asked about. The dimmer modules should work with our existing wiring as long as the load rating matches the LED bulbs we installed last year. I checked the specs and most of the smart switches support up to 150 watts of LED which is well above what we need in the living room. The hub we have uses Zigbee protocol so any new device needs to be compatible with that standard. I found a few options that also include a neutral wire bypass which is helpful since some of our boxes don't have a neutral run to them yet. For the thermostat schedule I think we can set it to lower the temperature automatically after 9pm and raise it again at 6am. That should save enough on heating to offset the cost of the new modules within a few months. I can help you map out the installation sequence next weekend if you are free. Let me know which rooms you want to prioritize first.
