Oh, I totally get what you mean about the weather being unpredictable! We were at the park the other day, and out of nowhere this huge golden retriever came bounding over and stole my friend's frisbee. I finally started that little herb garden I kept talking about! I picked up some basil, mint, and rosemary starters. Let me tell you, trying to find the perfect spot on the balcony that gets enough sun but isn't too windy was a whole project by itself. I ended up rearranging half the furniture out there. My cat is obsessed with sniffing the mint every time she goes out. I'm hoping I don't kill them before I get to actually cook with them. Do you have any tips for keeping them alive? I swear I don't have a green thumb at all, but I'm determined this time around. It gives me a nice excuse to step outside and take a break from staring at my laptop screen.
