Yeah I totally get what you mean about the weather lately. I was just telling my neighbor that it feels like we skipped spring entirely and went straight into summer. We were planning to do some gardening this weekend but now I am not so sure with the heat. I might just stay inside and catch up on that series everyone keeps talking about. Have you seen it yet? I heard the new season is really good but I want to wait until I have a few episodes banked before I start. My cousin recommended it to me last month and I finally have some free time. Anyway let me know if you want to come over and watch the first couple episodes together. I can make that dip you liked last time. Just let me know what works for you.

It has been a while since we just hung out like that. I think it would be fun to catch up properly. There is a lot I have been meaning to tell you about my new project at work and also that trip I mentioned back in the fall. I finally booked the flights and I am really excited about it. I will share more details when we meet up.

I finally tried that new coffee shop on the corner and honestly it was pretty good. The espresso has a nice smooth finish and the pastry selection is decent. I ran into an old friend from school there which was unexpected. We ended up chatting for almost an hour about old times and what everyone is up to now. It is funny how you can run into people in the most random places. I will probably go back there again next week maybe try their cold brew this time. The seating area is nice too with plenty of natural light so it could be a good spot to bring a book.

Let me know if you ever want to meet up there. I think you would like their menu. They also have some outdoor seating which is nice when the weather cooperates. I was thinking maybe this Saturday afternoon if you are free. No pressure if you are busy though I know weekends can get packed with errands and stuff. Just thought it would be a nice low-key way to catch up. I have been meaning to ask you about that hiking trail you mentioned last month.
