I finally got around to trying that pasta recipe you sent me last month. It was surprisingly easy to put together, even on a busy Sunday evening. The sauce had a really nice depth of flavor, and the whole wheat pasta held up well. I added a bit of roasted garlic on top, which gave it an extra kick. I paired it with a simple side salad and some crusty bread. We're definitely adding this one to the regular dinner rotation. Next time I might try it with some grilled chicken or maybe some mushrooms. Thanks again for the suggestion OQjYxHXOrYV5! I've been looking for ways to mix up our weekly meals, and this was a great change of pace. Let me know if you have any other favorite recipes, especially ones that are quick and easy for weeknights.

So I finally walked through the park renovation over on Elm Street. They completely redid the walking paths and added a lot of new benches and trees. It's actually really nice for an afternoon stroll now. There's also a new section with some exercise equipment, which seems pretty popular already. I saw a few people out there on Saturday morning. They kept the old fountain at the center but restored it, so it looks really clean and classic. The flower beds are well maintained, lots of seasonal color. It feels like a completely different space compared to how run down it was before. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been over there in a while. It's a good spot to read a book or just sit and people watch.
