oh yeah I finished that book you recommended pLftHdiz6Tbsr6. honestly the middle dragged a bit but the ending totally pulled it together. I stayed up way too late finishing it. what did you think of the main character's decision in chapter 12? I went back and forth on whether it made sense. anyway let me know if you want to borrow the copy I have. I'll probably re-read it next month.
I also started that series you mentioned the one set in the mountains. the atmosphere is incredible so far. the descriptions of the landscape really make you feel like you're there. have you read the sequel yet? I heard it's even better than the first.
I'm trying to decide whether to buy it now or wait for the paperback. anyway no rush on the book just let me know whenever you finish it. oh and thanks again for the recommendation it was definitely worth reading.

so we finally tried that hiking trail near the lake. it was tougher than we expected honestly. lots of elevation gain in the first mile. but the view at the top was incredible totally worth the sore legs the next day. we saw a deer on the way down just standing there watching us. definitely going back when the leaves change in october.
we also stopped at that little cafe on the way home and had the best tomato soup I've ever tasted. I need to get the recipe. have you been there before? we should totally plan a group trip up there soon.
maybe we can rent one of those cabins for a weekend. it would be so nice to just get away from everything for a few days. anyway let me know what you think. we're free the first weekend of next month if that works for you guys. it'll be fun to finally catch up properly.
