I just got back from the hike and honestly my legs are completely shot. We took the trail up near the old reservoir, the one that loops around the back of the ridge. I thought it was going to be a quick three miles but it ended up being closer to six with all the detours we took. The weather was perfect though, not too humid, and there was a nice breeze coming through the pines. I ran into Sarah from the bookstore halfway up and she said they just got a new shipment of gardening guides in if you are still looking for that one on native plants. Anyway I just sat down with a cup of tea and I am probably going to crash early tonight. Hope your week is going well so far.

I was reorganizing the spare room closet this morning and I found a whole box of old concert tickets and polaroids from college. It was such a trip down memory lane. There was a ticket stub from that show we went to in 2015 where the band showed up two hours late and the opener was surprisingly the best part of the night. I also found that mix cd you made me with the hand drawn cover. Remember that? The plastic case is all cracked now but the disc still looks okay. I haven't had a chance to play it yet but I am kind of curious what songs are on it. Anyway it was a nice little time capsule. Let me know if you want to grab coffee this weekend and catch up properly.
