Hey thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I was actually just thinking about that project we discussed last week. The timeline you mentioned seemed really reasonable and I think we can make it work if we adjust a couple of the early milestones. Let me know what you think about the resource allocation we talked about. I have some bandwidth opening up next month and I would love to get this moving before the holiday break. We should probably sync up with the design team early so they can flag any dependencies before we get too deep. I know they have a lot on their plate right now but I think if we give them a heads up it will go smoother. Anyway no pressure just wanted to keep the conversation warm. Talk soon I hope.
Oh and one more thing I finally got around to reading that book you recommended. Took me a while to get into it but by the third chapter I was hooked. The way the author builds tension through ordinary details is something I have not seen before. I can see why you said it would be right up my alley. I am about halfway through now and I already have a few theories about where it is going. Let me know when you finish it so we can compare notes. I will probably wrap it up this weekend if I get some quiet time.

Hey I caught your message about the weekend plans. I think Saturday afternoon works best for me if that still works for you. We could grab coffee around 2 or maybe head to that new place on 5th if you are in the mood for something different. I heard their cold brew is really good and the patio is shaded which would be nice. Let me know what sounds better to you. I am flexible either way. Also I wanted to ask if you have seen the updates they made to the park near my place. They redid the walking path and added some benches. It is actually really nice now. We could do a short walk after coffee if you are up for it. No big deal if you are busy. Just thought it would be a nice way to catch up properly. It has been a few weeks and I feel like we have a lot to talk about. Anyway just reply when you get a chance and we will lock something in.
I also finally got around to organizing my bookshelf last night. It took way longer than I expected because I kept stopping to flip through old favorites. I found a cookbook I completely forgot I owned. Might try a recipe from it this week. Let me know if you have any good dinner ideas lately. I am in a bit of a cooking rut and need some inspiration.
