Yeah I finally got around to trying that new recipe you sent me last week. It turned out way better than I expected honestly I was a little skeptical about the combination of ingredients but the flavors really worked together. I ended up doubling the batch because once I tasted it I knew I wanted leftovers for the week. The prep took a bit longer than I thought but the actual cooking time was spot on. I might tweak the seasoning a little next time maybe add a bit more garlic but overall it was a solid recommendation. Let me know if you have any other recipes like that one because I'm definitely open to trying more. I've been trying to cook at home more often and finding good recipes that actually work is half the battle. By the way C919t9tmssfr16 that tip you gave me about preheating the pan made a big difference.

I was telling my neighbor about that book you mentioned and she ended up borrowing my copy before I even finished it. She said she couldn't put it down and finished it in two days. I thought the pacing was a little slow in the middle chapters but the ending made up for it. We've been talking about starting a little book exchange on our street since so many people seem interested in reading more. It's funny how one recommendation can spark this whole chain reaction. Anyway I finally finished it last night and I already started the sequel which so far is even better. The character development really deepens in the second one and the new setting adds a lot of atmosphere. I'll pass it along to you when I'm done if you want.
