Hey, thanks for the note about the trail conditions. I ended up going last weekend anyway and it was perfectly fine. The stream crossing was a bit high, but manageable. We saw a family of deer near the old cabin site. Let me know if you want to borrow my hiking poles for your trip next month. I also tried that new bakery you mentioned. The sourdough was excellent.

I finally finished reading that sci-fi series you recommended. The world-building was incredible, especially the way they handled the time travel paradoxes. I couldn't put down the second book. I've already started looking for similar authors. Have you read anything by Ursula K. Le Guin? I think you'd really like her style. Anyway, let me know what you think about grabbing coffee this weekend to chat about it.

I also finally saw that new movie everyone's talking about. The cinematography was stunning, but the plot felt a bit predictable in the second act. Still, a solid watch for a rainy afternoon.
