The garden is finally starting to bloom after all that rain we had last month. I spent the weekend planting some new perennials along the fence line. I think they will attract more butterflies and bees this summer, which is great for pollination. I also need to repot the herbs on the patio, they have outgrown their containers significantly. Let me know if you want to stop by and see it sometime. I could use a second opinion on the layout of the flower bed by the garage. I am considering adding a small water feature but I am not sure if it is worth the upkeep. What do you think? Water features can be nice but they require regular cleaning and maintenance. I might just stick with a simple birdbath instead, it is easier to clean. I also want to add a few more shade plants near the fence.
