The Dental Faculty Loan Repayment Program (DFLRP) (HRSA-26-066) aims to increase the number of dental and dental hygiene faculty in the workforce by assisting training programs to attract and retain full-time faculty through loan repayment.

HRSA plans to fund awards in five budget periods for a period of performance from 09/01/2026 to 08/31/2031. Expected total available funding in FY26: $800,000.
