Hey thanks for getting back to me about the weekend. I ended up going on that hike we talked about and the trail was in pretty good shape despite the rain earlier in the week. There were a few muddy spots near the creek crossing but nothing too bad. We stopped for lunch at the summit overlook and the view was worth every step. The wildflowers are starting to bloom up there and the air smelled fresh and clean. I saw a couple of deer on the way down just standing still watching us pass. It was one of those days where everything felt peaceful and quiet and I didn't want it to end. 1hA99Sze1Ulxi My phone battery died right after I took a few photos so I didn't get as many shots as I wanted but the ones I got turned out nice. Let me know if you want to go next time I am happy to plan it again. The whole loop took about four hours with breaks and the elevation gain was moderate so not too exhausting but definitely a good workout. I felt great the next day just a little sore in the legs. Anyway let me know what you think about next weekend.

I tried that pasta recipe you sent me last week and it turned out really well. The sauce came together nicely and I added a bit of extra garlic because you know me I can never have enough. I used penne instead of spaghetti because that is what I had in the pantry and it worked great. The whole thing took about thirty minutes from start to finish which was perfect for a weeknight. I think next time I will try adding some mushrooms or maybe bell peppers for a little extra texture and flavor. My partner said it was one of the best meals I have made recently so that was a nice surprise considering how simple it was. I served it with a side salad and some crusty bread and it felt like a proper dinner. Thanks again for sharing the recipe I am always looking for new ideas that do not require a million ingredients or complicated steps. Let me know if you have any other favorites I should try.
