I finally got around to organizing my home office this weekend. I bought some shelves and a new desk lamp from that store you recommended. It took me the whole day, but it feels like a completely new space now. I can actually find my notes and pens without digging through piles of clutter. I also framed a few prints to hang on the wall above the monitor. It makes working from home feel a bit more professional and less chaotic. You were right, having a dedicated space just for work makes a huge difference.

Next step is to tackle the garage, but I am dreading that. It has become the dumping ground for everything we don't want in the house. Maybe I will wait until the fall when it cools down a bit. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion on the lamp, it really ties the room together.

I have been trying out that new barbecue recipe you sent. The secret is definitely in the rub. I used smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a bit of brown sugar. It created such a nice crust on the chicken. I grilled some corn on the cob and zucchini alongside it. Pretty much the perfect summer meal. The weather has been cooperating too, no rain in sight for the past week.

Have you been watching the new season of that cooking competition show? I binged the first three episodes last night. The challenges are getting really intense. I am rooting for the chef from Austin, she seems really talented and creative. Let me know if you catch up, I want to discuss the judging decisions without spoiling anything for you.

I also started a small herb garden on my balcony. Basil, mint, and chives are doing really well. It is so convenient to just step outside and grab fresh herbs for cooking. You should try it, even just a pot of basil makes a difference.
