The pharma industry suffered a couple of setbacks this week in its fight to reel in the 340B federal drug discount program. Drugmakers have been challenging state laws that prohibit them from putting limits on the use of contract pharmacies under 340B. But on Wednesday, a federal judge rejected AbbVie’s case against Colorado’s state law. AbbVie, Novartis and the industry trade group PhRMA also lost their attempt to preliminarily block Washington’s state law on Tuesday.

But the fight isn’t over yet: Similar lawsuits continue to make their way through the court system. We'll keep you posted on those as they're determined.
