Yeah, I finally got around to organizing the garage this weekend and it took way longer than I expected. I started with just clearing out the old boxes but then I realized I needed to rearrange the whole shelving unit to make everything fit better. The funny thing is I found about three tape measures and two hammers that I had forgotten I even owned. My neighbor came over to borrow a ladder and ended up helping me for an hour. We got most of it done but there's still a pile of stuff in the corner that I need to sort through. I think I'll tackle that next weekend when I have more time. The best part was finally being able to park both cars in the garage again without having to squeeze around boxes.
Anyway, let me know if you want to borrow the pressure washer next week. I'm done with all the outdoor projects for now and it's just sitting there. I also found an old flashlight that still works perfectly after ten years. Not bad.

I tried that new coffee shop downtown this morning and the cold brew was really good. They have this outdoor seating area with plants everywhere and it feels like a little jungle. I sat there for about an hour reading a book I just started and lost track of time. The barista recommended their seasonal latte which has cinnamon and honey in it so I might try that next time. I also noticed they sell locally made pastries from a bakery a few blocks over. I grabbed a blueberry scone and it was still warm. The whole vibe was really relaxed and gtObZ6TJ4f6 it reminded me of that place we visited last summer. I think I found my new weekend spot.
Oh and they have live acoustic music on Saturday afternoons which I didn't expect. A guy was playing some older folk songs and it fit the mood perfectly. I ended up staying way longer than I planned but sometimes that's exactly what you need.
