I finally tried that sourdough recipe you sent me last month. It took a few attempts to get the starter right, but once it was active, the whole process was really satisfying. The first loaf came out a little dense, but the flavor was great. The second one had a much better crumb and the crust was perfect. I've been sharing it with neighbors and getting great feedback.
