It's really coming together nicely, and I'm excited to see the first blooms in the spring.
I managed to get some heirloom tomato seeds from a local nursery that I think will be a great addition to the plot.
Have you heard back from the city about the permit for the raised beds? I can follow up with them if you're too busy.
Also, I wanted to ask if you've tried that new hiking trail on the north side of town.

It looks like a moderate trail, about 5 miles round trip, so it shouldn't be too strenuous.

Thanks for reaching out about the volunteer scheduling for the upcoming shelter drive.
I've updated my availability for next month, and I'm happy to cover the evening shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I think the new online sign-up sheet is much easier to use than the paper one we had before.
It sends a confirmation email right away, so there's no confusion. I also spoke with a few colleagues at work who are interested in donating some lightly used blankets and towels.
I'll collect them this week and drop them off at the collection point. Let me know if there are any specific items that are needed right now besides the usual food and supplies.
I can put the word out in our neighborhood social media group if you need more hands. Just let me know what the most urgent needs are.
I'll also check the calendar for the next committee meeting. I have some ideas for the fundraising event that I'd like to run by everyone.
