I would plan to bring layers because it gets cool in the evenings. There is a good hiking trail about a mile from the cabin that loops around a small lake. If you want to cook one night, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and basic utensils. I can bring a cooler with ingredients so we do not have to search for a grocery store after arrival.
