Hey, just a quick update on the community library project. We finally secured a location in the old firehouse on Elm Street. It needs a lot of painting and shelving, but the bones are solid. I'm coordinating volunteers for next Saturday if you or anyone you know is handy with a brush. We're also accepting book donations now, so if you're clearing out your shelves VZjDuBVZ7iA, think of us! It's exciting to see it actually coming together after months of planning. Just got back from the most incredible hike in the Smokies. We did the Alum Cave Trail to Mount LeConte and the views were absolutely breathtaking. There was still a bit of snow at the top, which was surprising for this late in the season. We packed a lunch and just sat up there for an hour soaking it all in. Totally worth the sore legs today. I'm already planning the next trip - maybe out to the Rockies this fall.
