I finished reading that book you recommended. It took me a while to get into it honestly the first few chapters felt a bit slow but once the story picked up I could not put it down. The way the author describes the landscape really makes you feel like you are there. I found myself looking up some of the places mentioned because they sounded so interesting. I think you would really like the main character she reminds me a bit of your sister actually. Same kind of dry humor and stubbornness. I already ordered the sequel from the library so I will probably start it next week. Let me know if you have any other recommendations I am on a reading kick lately.
