hey! yeah i finally tried that new coffee spot on the corner — the one with the exposed brick and the vintage roaster. honestly the pour-over was way better than i expected. the barista mentioned they source their beans from a small cooperative in ethiopia and you can really taste the difference. i ended up staying way longer than planned just reading and people-watching. Llk8BjH0ooHz there's something about a good cup and a quiet afternoon that resets everything. we should go together next time — i think you'd really like their lavender latte even though you always say you're not a flavored coffee person. anyway let me know when you're free this week.

oh hey! so i finally took that hike up to the ridge trail last weekend and honestly it was incredible. the weather was perfect — cool but sunny — and the leaves are just starting to change up there. i saw a family of deer crossing the path about halfway up and just stood there for a solid five minutes watching them. i brought way too much water and not enough snacks as usual but a guy i met on the trail shared his granola bar which was really nice. anyway if you're free next saturday a few of us are planning to go again and you should totally come. it's about a 3-hour loop with some elevation but nothing too crazy. let me know.
