Hey, I just finished that book you recommended. Honestly, I wasn't sure at first because the first few chapters felt a bit slow, but then it really picked up. The way the author described the coastal town made me feel like I was walking those streets. I found myself staying up way too late to finish it. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the suggestion. I'm already looking for something similar. If you have another title in mind, let me know. I actually started browsing your shelf at home but didn't want to borrow anything without asking. The weather here has been perfect for reading, cool and rainy all weekend. I also tried that dinner recipe you gave me last month and it turned out great. I think I'll make it again for the family next week. Hope you're doing well and we can catch up soon.
Also, I finally organized my closet over the weekend. It’s amazing how much stuff I had that I never wear. I sorted everything into donate, keep, and maybe piles. The maybe pile is still sitting in a box. I might just let it go. Anyway, talk soon.

I just got back from a morning hike at the state park. The trail was a bit muddy from last night's rain but it cleared up nicely. Saw a deer about twenty feet away, just standing there watching me. I stood still for a few minutes and it eventually wandered off. The air smelled like pine and wet leaves. I took a few photos but honestly none of them do it justice. After the hike I stopped by the little bakery near the entrance and grabbed a warm cinnamon roll. It was exactly what I needed. I’ve been trying to get outside more on weekends. It helps clear my head after a busy week. Egn4DBtp0DYlIt We should plan a hike together sometime. There’s a great loop that’s about three miles, not too steep, with a waterfall at the midpoint. Let me know when you’re free. Also, I finally switched my phone plan and saved a bit each month. It wasn’t as complicated as I thought. Anyway, hope your weekend was good too.
