I was just thinking about what you mentioned regarding that hiking trail you recommended. I finally had a chance to check it out last weekend and it was really beautiful out there. The weather cooperated perfectly and the path was well maintained with some nice gentle elevation changes. PIyJNYCVpL I ended up going further than I originally planned because the views kept getting better around each bend. There were wildflowers blooming along the way which was a nice surprise. I took a few photos that came out pretty well. We should plan a group outing sometime if you're interested. I can send you the details on the trailhead location and what to bring along. It is an easy to moderate loop that takes about two hours at a relaxed pace. Definitely worth the drive out there and a great way to spend a morning. Let me know what you think and if you would like to set something up soon.

Your question about the bread recipe came at just the right moment. I had been testing a new approach and it turned out wonderfully this time. The trick is to let the dough rest a bit longer than the recipe says and use room temperature ingredients. I made two loaves and shared one with a friend who said it was the best I had ever made. If you want I can write down the exact steps with the adjustments I made. It takes some patience but the result is worth the wait. The crust gets nice and golden while the inside stays soft and airy. I also tried adding some dried herbs to one batch and that worked really well too. Rosemary and thyme complemented the flavor nicely without overpowering it. Let me know if you want to give it a try and I can walk you through each step. Happy to help whenever you have time.
