I was just thinking about what you said the other day regarding that hiking trail we talked about. I finally went there last weekend and it was even better than I expected. The weather was perfect and the views from the top were absolutely stunning. I took a bunch of photos which I can show you next time we catch up. The path was well maintained but there were a few steep sections that got my heart pumping. I saw some interesting birds along the way that I couldn't identify. Maybe you know what they were — they had bright blue feathers and a distinctive call. Anyway, I'm already planning to go back next month and explore some of the side trails we skipped. Let me know if you'd want to join. Also, I finally tried that new coffee place downtown and their cold brew is fantastic oxUL6Azzruy. The atmosphere is really cozy with lots of plants and natural light.

I finally got around to organizing my bookshelf over the weekend and it turned into a much bigger project than I anticipated. I ended up rediscovering some old favorites that I had completely forgotten about. There was one novel in particular that I remember loving in college and I started flipping through it and got completely absorbed again. It's funny how certain passages can bring back such vivid memories of where you were when you first read them. I also found a couple of books that someone lent me years ago and I never returned. I should probably track down their owners and finally give them back. My system now is to group books by genre and then alphabetically by author which feels very satisfying. I also set aside a small pile to donate since I know I will never read them again. It feels good to declutter a bit and make space for new reads.
