Yeah I finally got out to that trail we talked about last month. The weather was perfect not too hot and the views from the ridge were incredible. I brought along a friend who had never been hiking before and he was blown away by how peaceful it was up there. We packed a simple lunch and just sat on the rocks for about an hour watching the clouds roll by. The whole loop took us about four hours with plenty of breaks. I forgot to bring enough water though so that was a rookie mistake. Next time I'll pack at least two bottles for sure. Have you been out on any trails lately I'd love to hear about any new spots you've found. I'm thinking of going back next weekend maybe trying the longer route that goes past the old fire tower. The wildflowers were starting to bloom which was a nice surprise.
