Hey, thanks for getting back to me about that thing we discussed yesterday. I was starting to wonder if you had time to look into it at all. I know you said you were busy with the new schedule and all the changes at work, and I totally get that. Honestly, I've been meaning to circle back but kept getting sidetracked myself. The kids have been keeping me running around more than usual, what with soccer practice and the school play rehearsals starting up. Anyway, I hope things are settling down a bit on your end. Let me know what you think when you have a spare moment. No rush at all — just wanted to touch base before the week gets away from us. I still think it could be something fun to try out together. Talk soon, I hope. cfCUOIE11Uk By the way, did you ever find that book you were looking for last month? I stumbled across something similar at the library and thought of you.

I finally got around to trying that recipe you sent me last week. It came out way better than I expected, even though I had to substitute a couple of ingredients because the store was out of stock. My family actually asked me to make it again next week, which basically never happens when I try something new. I think the trick was letting it rest a little longer than the instructions said. The texture was just right and the flavors had time to really come together. I used a little less salt than called for and that seemed to work well. Anyway, thanks for passing it along. I'm planning to try the other one you mentioned as soon as I get a chance. Let me know if you have any other good ones tucked away. I'm trying to build up a solid rotation of meals that everyone actually agrees on, which feels like a small miracle in this house these days.
