I just finished reading that book you recommended and honestly I wasn't sure about it at first but by the third chapter I was completely hooked. The way the author develops the main character feels really natural and the pacing picks up nicely after the setup. I think you would enjoy the sequel too based on what you told me about your favorite parts. I'm planning to start the next one this weekend if I get some free time. Also I finally tried that recipe you sent me last month and it turned out great even though I swapped a few ingredients because I was out of some things. The sauce was the best part.
