Yes I think that approach works well for the community garden layout we discussed last week. The raised beds along the southern side should get enough sunlight throughout the day and the pathway between them can be lined with the crushed stone we saw at the supply yard. I checked on the soil temperature yesterday and it is warm enough now to start planting the early crops like peas and spinach. We should also consider adding a small composting area near the tool shed to enrich the soil for the later season crops.
