Hey, I finally got around to organizing my bookshelf this weekend and it feels so good. I sorted everything by genre and then by author within each section, which took way longer than I expected but was totally worth it. I found a couple of books I borrowed from a friend years ago that I completely forgot to return. I'll have to drop those off this week. I also came across an old journal from college and spent way too long reading through it. Some of it was hilarious, some of it was pretty cringey, but it was nice to look back on that time. I've been thinking about starting a new reading challenge for the fall, maybe 10 books by the end of the year. If you have any recommendations, send them my way. I'm in the mood for something lighter, maybe a good mystery or a funny memoir. Let me know what you've been reading lately. Hope your week is off to a good start.

I finally tried that new coffee shop that opened up on Elm Street and it was really good. They have this cozy back area with a couple of armchairs and lots of natural light, perfect for reading or just hanging out. I ordered a honey latte and it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The barista recommended their seasonal pastry, a pumpkin scone, which was warm and crumbly and went perfectly with the coffee. I ended up staying for about two hours just relaxing and watching people come and go. The vibe is very laid-back and unpretentious, which I appreciate. I think you would really like the place. We should go together sometime, maybe this weekend if you're free. I'm curious to hear what you think of their cold brew. Let me know when works for you. I'm pretty open this Saturday afternoon.
