Hey, I just wanted to tell you about the funniest thing that happened yesterday. My neighbor got a new puppy, a golden retriever, and he brought it over to show us. The little guy immediately ran into our living room, grabbed a throw pillow, and started shaking it like crazy. We were all laughing so hard. The puppy then ran in circles and tripped over his own ears. It took us ten minutes to calm him down. Honestly, I didn't expect such a tiny creature to have that much energy. My kids are already asking if we can get one too, but I think we'll wait a bit longer. Anyway, I found a gslKTT2TrsuCHhp spot near the park where we can take him for walks – it's quiet and has lots of shade. Let me know if you want to come over and meet him this weekend. It would be great to catch up.

I've been trying my hand at baking sourdough bread lately. It's honestly a lot more work than I expected, but the results are so rewarding. The first few loaves were dense and flat, but after a few weeks I got the hang of it. The starter needs to be fed regularly, and the timing has to be just right. Last weekend I made a batch of cinnamon raisin bread and my husband said it was the best he'd ever had. I'm thinking about trying a whole wheat version next time. The kitchen smells amazing when the bread is baking, and the crust comes out golden and crispy. I've been sharing loaves with neighbors and they love it. It's a simple pleasure, but it makes me feel so accomplished. If you're interested, I can drop off a loaf for you – just let me know.
