I think the key thing with that recipe is to let the dough rest for at least an hour. I tried rushing it once and the texture was completely off. The yeast needs that time to develop properly. Also, make sure your water is warm but not hot — if it's too hot it kills the yeast. I usually test it on my wrist like baby formula. The folding technique makes a difference too. You want to fold it over itself a few times during the rise to build structure. Let me know how it turns out.

The garden is coming along nicely this season. I ended up planting the tomatoes a bit later than planned but they are catching up fast. The key is consistent watering — not too much, not too little. I found that morning watering works best to prevent mildew. The basil is thriving alongside them which is great for making pesto later. I'm trying a new variety of cucumber this year that is supposed to be more resistant to pests. Fingers crossed it works out.
