Hey, thanks for the note about the book club meeting — I think Thursday works fine on my end. I was planning to pick up a copy this weekend and start reading. I heard the second half gets really intense and there's a twist that nobody sees coming. I try to avoid spoilers but a friend already told me something about the main character's past that I probably shouldn't have heard. Anyway I'm still looking forward to it. Also I finished that documentary series we talked about — the one on coastal ecosystems and how the fishing villages have adapted over the last few decades. It was beautifully shot but honestly a little slow in the middle episodes. I learned a lot about tide patterns and how local communities build their docks to withstand seasonal storms. The last episode was the best part in my opinion. They followed one family through an entire season and the ending was surprisingly emotional. I think you'd enjoy it even if nature docs aren't usually your thing.

Hey I finally got around to organizing the garage over the weekend and it took way longer than I expected. I started sorting through boxes from the move and found old photos and a few books I had forgotten about. The shelves are up now and I can actually park the car inside again which feels like a small victory. I also found that camping chair you lent me last summer I will bring it next time we meet up. The whole process made me realize how much stuff accumulates without you even noticing. I am planning to do a second pass next month to clear out the rest of the things I don't use anymore. I set aside a couple that look interesting but I haven't read them yet so I can pass them along if you want something new to read. Anyway I am glad that project is behind me now.
