Oh, I totally forgot to mention something about the trip. My friend Mark might be joining us as well. He's been wanting to hike that trail for ages. Is it okay if he comes along? He's very outdoorsy and knows a lot about the area. He might even be able to show us some shortcuts or hidden spots that aren't on the main map. I've been thinking a lot about redecorating the living room for a while now. I saw some really nice minimalist furniture online that would fit perfectly with the natural light. The place just feels a bit cluttered lately, and I think a cleaner, more open look would do wonders for the space. I'm planning to get a new coffee table with storage underneath, and maybe some floating shelves for the wall opposite the window to display some plants and books. Also, I want to repaint the walls a much lighter color to brighten things up. I'm torn between a soft beige with warm undertones and a cool light grey. It's going to be a pretty big project, but I'm slowly gathering ideas and getting excited to start executing it this spring.
