Yeah I totally get what you mean. We tried that new place last weekend and honestly it was pretty good but nothing mind blowing. The service was fine and the food came out quick which I always appreciate. I think the hype got to me a little bit because I was expecting something truly amazing but it was just solid. Not bad just not life changing. I would probably go back if someone else suggested it but I would not go out of my way. The patio area was nice though and the weather was perfect so that helped. Anyway let me know if you end up trying it I am curious what you think. Maybe they were just having an off night or something. I ordered the chicken which was decent and my friend got the pasta and said it was good too. Dessert was actually the best part so do not skip that.

We also grabbed coffee afterward at that little shop around the corner and their cold brew was really smooth. I am not usually a cold brew person but it was not bitter at all. The place had a nice relaxed vibe and plenty of seating which is rare to find. I might start going there to read on weekends. Let me know if you want to tag along sometime.

I finally finished that series everyone has been talking about and I have mixed feelings. The first season was so strong and really pulled me in but the second season lost some momentum in the middle. The characters were still great and the acting was top notch but the pacing felt off to me. I think they could have cut a few episodes and it would have been tighter. That said the ending was satisfying and I am glad I stuck with it. The soundtrack was amazing too I have been listening to it on repeat. I would recommend it overall especially if you like slow burn stories with good character development. Just be patient through the middle part. I started a new show yesterday and so far so good but too early to tell. Let me know if you want any other recommendations.

Actually I also picked up a new hobby last month that has been really fun. I started trying my hand at sketching just simple stuff like trees and cups nothing fancy. It is surprisingly relaxing and a good way to unwind after a long day. I am definitely not good at it yet but that is not really the point. It is more about the process than the result. You should try something low pressure like that sometime it helps clear your head.
