Hey there — just got back from that hike you recommended. The trail was beautiful, lots of shade and the view at the summit was absolutely worth the climb. We stopped for a picnic about halfway up and saw a family of deer grazing nearby. Really peaceful morning. I’m thinking of going again next weekend, maybe taking a different loop this time. The weather held up perfectly, not too hot and a nice breeze the whole way. A few sections were a little rocky but nothing too intense. Definitely bring good shoes if you go. Anyway, wanted to share how much I enjoyed it. Hope you’re having a good week too.
Oh, and I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me a while back. Turned out really well — the sauce was rich and we added a bit of fresh basil on top. Hey, thanks for the book recommendation — I started reading it last night and couldn’t put it down. The writing style is so immersive and the characters feel really vivid.
