I finally got around to testing the soil in the north garden bed like you suggested. The pH is way higher than I expected given all the pine needles we mulched with. I am thinking we might need to add some sulfur this fall to get it ready for blueberries. Have you ever tried growing them in raised beds instead of directly in the ground? I am worried about drainage during the heavy spring rains we usually get around here.
