We looked into the timing for the community garden project and I think mid-April works best for getting the beds prepared. The soil should be workable by then if we have a stretch of dry days. I spoke with the nursery and they can hold the seedlings until we are ready. They suggested starting with tomatoes and peppers since those take a bit longer to mature. We will also need to coordinate with the building manager about water access near the plot. I can draft a simple schedule for planting and watering shifts if that helps.
