Hey, how's it going? I finally got around to looking at those photos from the camping trip last weekend. The ones at the lake came out really well, especially the sunrise shots. I tried out that new editing software you mentioned. It took a bit to get the hang of the layers and masking tools, but the results are pretty impressive. I just finished reading that book you lent me, the one about the history of jazz music in New Orleans. It was fascinating how the different cultural influences blended together to create such a unique sound. I never realized how much the social and political climate shaped the evolution of the genre. The chapters on the early brass bands and the birth of swing were my favorite parts. Now I'm going through the discography recommendations in the back. Thanks for lending it to me, I really enjoyed it. Let me know if you have any other suggestions along the same lines.
